We were born with the aim of generating social responsibility among the people of Morelos, focusing on the State’s most pressing problems, thus promoting a local culture of donation and investment. Since our origins we have chanelled our resources into local projects and provide a consultancy service to those projects.
We
iniciated a Community Infrastructure Building Project with
the University of Washington, linking the University with one local council
and its community. Both organisations provide labour, designs and materials.
This program continues today.

We launched radio programs for Civil Society Organizations (CSO’s), with the participation of four other local organizations. This constituted an important step in improving communication and allowed us to produce videos for TV campaigns on nutrition and the environment.
We
organized the Nutrition Fair “Piensa en la Panza” (Think
of your belly), with the participation of various CSO’s and we
developed publicity materials. This fair continued for three years.

We
iniciated a training and financing program of women’s micro enterprises
project, which continues to date.

We integrated new advisors from the business sector into Fundación and created a strategic plan to define our current mission, vision and objectives.
Our
first public appeal was launched in order to provide finance for local projects,
we helped 10 projects. This appeal has since continued as an annual program.

We began the process of institutional anaysis to allow us to define our economic strategy, a project analysis and selection strategy and a communication strategy. The result was a change of identity to improve the presentation of our role.
We established a heritage fund to secure permanent funds and to allow us to continue supporting local organizations in the long term. Also we began a formal process to identify the needs and opportunities in the local community.
Thanks to the genuine demonstration of social responsability from individuals,
businesses, national and international foundations, local, state and federal
government institutions we have succeded in investing more than 15 millions
of pesos and helping more than 40, 000 people in the state.
More than 77 local organizations have benefited from the development of education, health, nutrition and employment generation projects.
10 constructions (libraries, health centers, schools, kitchens and dining rooms for schools) have been built and are being used for community progams.
More than 50 organizations were trained on diverse community development themes.
More than 20 links were established through the development of joint projects.
